PURPOSE: An interactive location based service data providing method and a system are provided to enable a user to select and use contents of location based service data. CONSTITUTION: A location based service providing server receives reconstitution request information of location based service data and a transmission request of reconstituted location based service data from a client(S602). The server generates metadata by using the reconstitution request information of the received location based service data(S604). The server transmits the requested location based service data and the generated metadata to the client(S606).
