METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING AND MANAGING ANNOTATION ON ELECTRONIC BOOK

PURPOSE: A method generating and managing an annotation on an electronic book and a system thereof are provided to supply an annotation function in electronic book environment, thereby adding various types of annotations to electronic book content. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal displays digital content on a screen of a touch sensing display by a content display code of an electronic book application(110). The user terminal recognizes an object, which is selected by a user in the digital content, by an object recognition code of the electronic book application(120). The user terminal applies an annotation requested by an annotation storage code of the electronic book application to the selected object(130).
