<p>PURPOSE: A transparent copolyester is provided to have excellent biodegradability, good toughness and transparency, thereby being applied to an extrusion, film-blowing, film-drawing, bottle-blowing, extrusion molding, foaming, and sheet forming process. CONSTITUTION: A transparent copolyester comprises: an aliphatic-aromatic copolyester segment; a segment with a repeating unit which is represented by chemical formula: -O-CH(CH3)-C(O)-; and a structure unit derived from polyisocyanate. The weight ratio of the aliphatic-aromatic copolyester segment, segment with the repeating unit, and the structure unit is 100:(100-2,000):(0.1-10). The weight average molecular weight of the transparent copolyester is 50,000-1,000,000. The aliphatic-aromatic copolyester segment is a random aliphatic-aromatic copolyester segment.</p> |
