FORWARD OSMOTIC DESALINATION DEVICE USING MEMBRANE DISTILLATION METHOD IN WHICH A PART OF DRAW SOLUTION IS DIRECTLY FED TO A FORWARD OSMOTIC TYPE SEPARATOR

PURPOSE: A desalination separator and an apparatus equipped therewith are provided to desalinate water with the relatively little amount of draw solution by increasing the recollection rate of draw solution, thereby facilitating the desalinization process of high efficiency with low cost. CONSTITUTION: A desalination separator comprises first membrane contactors(400a, 400b, 400c), a second membrane contactor(600), and a vacuum pump. As part of draw solution flows into the first membrane contactors, the first membrane contactors separate gas and fresh water from the draw solution. As the separated gas is injected to the second membrane contactor, fluid flowing inside the second membrane contactor melts the gas. The vacuum pump operates interlocked with the first and second membrane contactors. The fluid with the melted gas in the second membrane contactor is mixed with the other part of draw solution.
