PURPOSE: A guardrail for absorbing a shock is provided to prevent wheels from being inserted into a guiderail by only contacting the car body with a first vertical part when the car hits the guiderail. CONSTITUTION: The guardrail comprises a plurality of pillars(100), a plurality of urethane bars, and a rail member(300). A plurality of pillar is perpendicularly installed at regular intervals at the boundary of the sidewalks and driveways. The plurality of urethane bars is inserted into the first vertical parts and bottom parts of the pillars. The rail member is perpendicularly combined at one side of second vertical parts and interconnects the pillars.
