Vehicle having vertically movable platform for dispensing and collecting road traffic management devices

A vehicle 12 for dispensing and collecting road traffic management devices which may be traffic cones. The vehicle 12 comprises a work station 14 that is moveable up and down with respect to the remainder of the vehicle 12. The work station 14 has an up position for use when the vehicle 12 is travelling along a road 16 and the road traffic devices are not being dispensed or collected and a down position for use when the vehicle 12 is travelling along a road 16 and the road traffic management devices are being dispensed or collected. The down position being at a height above the road 16 which optimises comfort and safety for an operator manually dispensing or collecting the road traffic management devices. Preferably the work station has a floor 18 which is level with an underside of the vehicle 12 when in an up position and which is lower than the underneath of the rest of the vehicle 12 when in the down position.
