PURPOSE: A high voltage secondary battery with a ground member is provided to prevent the malfunction of the secondary battery and electric shock when repairing the secondary battery by forming equipotential on covers which surround high voltage battery modules. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage secondary battery(1000) comprises a lower cover(100) accepting a battery module which accommodates laminated battery packs and battery modules; and an upper cover(300) which is coupled to the upper side of the lower cover. The upper cover and the lower cover consist of a conductive material. The upper cover and the lower cover are electrically connected by a ground member(400). Each part of the ground member connected to the lower cover, a middle cover and the upper cover is coupled by a coupling member. A toothed lock washer is inserted between the contact of the ground member and each cover.
