METHOD FOR CHANGING GIRDER OF RAILWAY PLATE GIRDER BRIDGE

PURPOSE: A girder replacement method for a railway plate girder bridge is provided to improve workability and to minimize the breaking time of a railway by accurately performing a change operation in a girder with installation equipment travelling on a railway. CONSTITUTION: A girder replacement method for a railway plate girder bridge comprises the following steps: lifting and placing a new girder(50) on a girder loading space(230) by the operation of a lifting device(240); transporting an installation equipment(200) with the new girder to a railway plate girder bridge by the operation of a power driving car(20); arranging the new girder over an existing girder(40-1) installed on two neighboring bridge piers; installing a temporary platform capable of supporting the existing girder on the lateral side of two piers(32-1,32-2) supporting the existing girder; pushing out the existing girder from the two piers to the temporary platform; and installing the new girder on the two piers on which the existing girder is removed.
