The plant pathogens are Magnaporthe oryzae, Thanatephorus cucumeris, Botrytis cinerea, Phytophthora infestans, Puccinia recondite, Blumeria graminis f. sp. Hordei, Colletotrichum coccodes, Phytophthora capsici, and Xanthomonas campestris pv. Vesicatoria. A composition for preventing plant diseases contains the strain or a culture thereof. The plant diseases are sheath blight, tomato gray mold, tomato late blight, leaf rust, or barley powdery mildew.
