PURPOSE: A display device is provided to simplify a structure of the touch panel by forming a transparent conductive layer for sensing on a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) display panel and implementing the touch panel with capacitance with a gate line of a TFT. CONSTITUTION: A first insulating substrate has a top side and a bottom side and a transparent conductive film(125) is located on the top side of the first insulating substrate. A gate line is located on the bottom side of the first insulating substrate and a gate insulating film(140) is located on the gate line. A semiconductor layer is located on the gate insulating film and includes a source electrode(173) and a drain electrode(175) and data line is located on the semiconductor layer. A pixel electrode(191) is connected with the drain electrode and the gate line, the gate insulating film, the semiconductor layer, and the data line are sequentially laminated in a first direction. The first direction is a direction that the bottom side of the first insulating substrate heads for the outside.
