KIT AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AMINO ACID VARIATION OF HEPATATIS B VIRUS

PURPOSE: A kit for detecting amino acid variation of hepatitis B virus(HBV) and a method for detecting the variation using the same are provided to easily and accurately detect the variation and to effectively analyze the drug resistant site of HBV. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting amino acid variation of hepatitis B virus(HBV) comprises: a step of sequencing a base sequence of HBV contained in a sample using a primer set; a step of converting the base sequence information into amino acid sequence information; a step of comparing the amino acid sequence information with a reference amino acid sequence and searching different information of the amino acid sequence; and a step of outputting searched information to a user. The sequencing is performed by emulsion-based clonal PCR. A kit for detecting the amino acid mutation of HBV comprises: a primer set for detecting the variation; and a recording medium.
