PURPOSE: A multimedia based automatic response method, a system, and a device are provided to allow an automatic response device to transmit multimedia based menu information in order to easily confirm the menu information. CONSTITUTION: A communication network relays data between a terminal and an external device. An automatic response device(130) transmits multimedia based menu information to the terminal. The automatic response device receives selection menu information corresponding to the multimedia based menu information from the terminal. The automatic response device extracts guide information corresponding to the selection menu information. The automatic response device transmits the extracted guide information to the terminal.
