PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a composite mast and the mast using the same are provided to control bending by gently controlling thickness of the mast according to changing sizes of an inner mold. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a composite mast is as follows. Inner shapes of an upper mold(110) and a lower mold(120) are processed corresponding to an exterior shape of a mast(200). In order to separate and assemble to the top and bottom, the upper and lower molds are manufactured by extrusion. An inner mold(130) is arranged between the upper and lower molds and is extruded to form the internal shape of the mast. Before the upper and lower molds are engaged to the center of the inner mold, a sheet made of composite materials is arranged. The upper and the lower molds are engaged to accommodate the sheet. The space between the engaged molds is filled with resin and is cured for a predetermined time. A product is separated from the molds. |
