PURPOSE: A water soluble wood preservative is provided to remarkably reduce the emission of environmental pollutants and to prevent wood deterioration. CONSTITUTION: A water soluble wood preservative contains 0.01-0.05 parts by weight of isopropyl alcohol, 0.01-0.05 parts by weight of ethyl cellulose, 2-80 parts by weight of a filler, and 20-95 parts by weight of purified water. The filler is potassium silicate, sodium silicate, or magnesium hydroxide. The filler suppresses fungal growth and improves the preservation of woods. |
