METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING COLOR TEMPERATURE OF LIGHT EMITTING DIODE

PURPOSE: A method and a device for controlling a color temperature of a luminous element is provided to reduce costs of a luminous element driving device by stably controlling color temperature with a half amount of electricity used in a cross driving way. CONSTITUTION: A luminous element of first color temperature is driven from arbitrary time of duty cycle. Driving of the luminous element of the first color temperature is stopped and sequentially a luminous element of second color temperature is driven. Driving time of the luminous element of the first color temperature and driving time of the luminous element of the second color temperature is controlled by pulse width modulation control method. The luminous element of the first color temperature is driven from start time of the duty cycle. The luminous element of the second color temperature is driven to completion time of the duty cycle.
