PURPOSE: An effluent and sludge separating device is provided to allow excellent task efficiency and a low cost, and to prevent a risk of industrial disaster as the risk exists when a worker is defenselessly committed to an area where a harmful material and odor are generated from a wastewater disposal plant such as an artificial pond. CONSTITUTION: An effluent and sludge separating device(300) comprise a cylindrical water tub main body(310) : a first segregation(320): a second segregation(330); a water collecting basin(340); a water displacement pipe(341); and a transfer apparatus. The water tub main body is installed by flange in multi-stages. The first segregation is installed in the water tub main body to firstly filter water and a sludge in a waste entering through the pumping equipment and filtering apparatus. The second segregation is installed at a lower part of the first segregation to secondly filter water remaining in the sludge after filtering in the first segregation. The water collecting basin is installed at a lower part of the second segregation to collect water filtered from the first and second filtration. The water displacement pipe is installed in the water collecting basin. The transfer apparatus sends the sludge filtered in the first and second filtration to the pressing apparatus.
