PURPOSE: A filtering apparatus is provided to be used in a filtration for sewage, wastewater, etc, have an adequate back washing effect, prevent villus from shortening the lifespan by abrasion, and prevent filtration efficiency from degradation. CONSTITUTION: A filtering apparatus includes a filtering segment and a back wash device. A filtering segment is equipped with a villus type filtration membrane in order to remove a foreign substance by filtering raw water. A back wash device washes the filtration membrane reversely. The back wash device has a suction part(42), the suction part has a suction slot(42a) removing the foreign substance of a filtration membrane by an attracting force, a villus suction guide part(42c) is installed in a suction slot, and the villus suction guide part forms a slope about the villus type filtration membrane. The villus suction guide part has a slope of 30-60°about the villus type filtration membrane.
