PURPOSE: A fresh water generating system for a jack-up ship is provided to stably supply fresh water to fresh water-demanded places in the ship by continuously producing the fresh water without stopping during a jack-up work. CONSTITUTION: A fresh water generating system for a jack-up ship comprises a seawater feeding pump for cooling(300) and a fresh water generator(110). The seawater feeding pump for cooling supplies seawater to a cooling device for the ship. The fresh water generator receives seawater from at least one of the seawater feeding pump for cooling and a sea chest(130) of the ship to generate fresh water.
