PURPOSE: A soft capsule containing folic acid with improved stability is provided to prevent the transition of excipient into gelatin and to suppress discoloration. CONSTITUTION: A soft capsule contains folic acid, oils, suspension having HLB values of 14 or more, and surfactant. The oils include macadamia ternifolia nut oil, hydrogenated high-erucic acid rape seed oil, hybridized sunflower oil, palm oil, soybean oil, coconut oil, castor oil, polyoxylhydrogenated castor oil, or mineral oil. The suspension includes lauroyl macrogolglyceride. The surfactant is propylene glycol monocaprylate. |
