<p>Radial tyre, with high-strength, low-stretch fibres, embedded in rubber, with cross layers of the carcass material intersecting on the equator line at acute angles, has these layers composed of numerous parallel thin fibres or filaments, of max. diam. a few 1/10ths mm. the fibres are separated at their crossing points by very small gaps, at most one fibre dia. Specif., the fibres in individual layers are looped back-and-forth at close spacing without crossing.</p> |
