PURPOSE: A method for processing a jewel is provided to improve the originality of a jewel and to emit beautiful light. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing a jewel comprises a step of processing a transparent jewel body(1) which is cut to emit light, a step that of polishing a natural color stone body(3), and a step of securing a gap of one millimeter or less to bring lower end surface(2) of the processed transparent jewel body into contact with the upper surface(4) of the natural color stone body, and combining and fixing the transparent jewel body and natural color stone body.
