PURPOSE: A shut off valve of a fuel tank is provided to prevent shot up phenomena through guiding the flow direction of fuel with speedy fuel supply to a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION: A shut off valve of a fuel tank comprises an elevating valve(40), a sealing ring(50), a coupling plate(60), and a compressed spring(70). The elevating valve comprises a ring groove(41) formed in the head portion of a body. The body of the sealing ring is inserted and coupled with the ring home of the elevating valve. The sealing ring is closely contacted to a filler neck pipe(20) and a stepped portion(23) of a valve. A supporting part(62) comprising a guide hole(63) is projected to the center of a body in the coupling plate. A venting hole is formed in the coupling plate around the supporting part. The compressed spring is inserted between the guide shaft(42) of the elevating valve and the support part of the coupling plate. |
