A mobile terminal and a method for shortening a wireless Internet additional service completion time of the mobile terminal are provided to complete an application of an additional service first, and to complete connection to a physical layer from a TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) layer, thereby shortening usage completion time of the service. A signal for usage completion of a wireless Internet additional service is inputted(S201-S203). Execution of an application corresponding to the wireless Internet additional service is first completed(S204). When the execution of the application is completed, connection of the wireless Internet additional service is completed(S205-S207). When the execution of the application is completed, a controller converts a screen of a terminal into an idle screen from a screen in accordance with the execution of the additional service. |
