PURPOSE: A Candida utilis mutant strain containing RNA of high concentration is provided to prepare a large amount of natural nucleic acids(IMP or GMP) and to improve productivity and functionality. CONSTITUTION: A Candida utilis mutant strain contains RNA of high concentration mutated by MNNG(N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine). A method for preparing the mutant strain of Candida utilis comprises: a step of culturing Candida utilis in a medium; and a step of adding MNNG to the medium. The method additionally comprises a step of selecting the strain containing RNA of high concentration. |
