The invention relates to a method for adjusting a control device (12) of a module (10) forming a lock mechanism, comprising a cable (14) provided with two ends, namely a proximal end (14P) and a distal end (14D), and housed inside a sheath (18) provided with two ends, namely a proximal end (18P) and a distal end (18D) that are locked in position by respective proximal and distal stop members (20D). The proximal end (14P) of the cable is provided with a body (16) for coupling the cable to a member that is kinematically connected to a control lever (2). According to the invention, the method consists in adjusting the active length (Li) of the proximal end (14P) of the cable extending externally beyond the sheath (18), said active length being defined by the length of the cable (14) between the stop member (20P) at the proximal end of the sheath (18) and the surface thereof for coupling to the member that is kinematically connected to the lever (2), the stop member at the proximal end (20P) of the sheath being stationary. |
