PURPOSE: An imaging system for obtaining digital pan/tilt images using rotationally symmetric wide-angle lens and a method thereof are provided to perform accurate image processing for a rotationally symmetric wide-angle lens. CONSTITUTION: A video system acquires video surface before compensation(2434) through a camera which attaches a wide-angle lens. The wide-angle lens is rotationally symmetric around an optical axis. The image system acquires a video surface after compensation(2435). The video surface after compensation is created by using a linear aberration compensation method. |
