The invention relates to individual means for the emergency rescue of people from civilian, industrial and military high-rise structures in the event of fire or other emergencies. The technical result which the present invention seeks to achieve is an increase in the reliability and durability of a device for the self-rescue of a person from a high-rise structure. This result is achieved in that in the device according to the invention for the self-rescue of a person from a high-rise structure, which comprises a housing (1) with descent speed-retarding openings (2, 3), through which a rope (4) that is accommodated in the housing (1) passes, and also means (5, 6) for securing a person to the housing and for securing the rope to the structure, the housing (1) is in the form of a sleeve having a preferably rounded cross-section and a sealed bottom (7), inside which the rope (4) is arranged. The rope (4) is woven from threads manufactured from a high-strength textile material and is impregnated with a viscous, heat and cold resistant, neutral, lubricating and cooling fluid. The rope (4) is arranged in horizontal layers according to a scheme which prevents entanglement of the rope, and the entire stack is secured by a diaphragm (8) with a central opening (9) for the passage of the rope (4). The upper part of the housing (1) accommodates a unit (10) of descent speed retarders, which seals off the inside cavity of the housing. Said unit (10) is provided with two speed-retarding openings (2, 3): opening (2) for squeezing out fluid, and opening (3) for generating a vacuum in the cavity of the housing (1). The diameters of the openings (2, 3) are proportionate to the diameter of the rope (4). |
