<p>This adhesive tape or sheet has an adhesive layer on one surface of a base and is characterized in that the base is a silicone resin sheet which has a tensile stress at a strain of 10% at 100°C of 0.1-3 MPa. The silicone resin sheet may be an inorganic oxide particle-containing silicone resin sheet which is formed from a silicone resin composition that contains a crosslinked structure wherein a polysiloxane resin and inorganic oxide particles dispersed in the polysiloxane resin are crosslinked by chemical bonds. This adhesive tape or sheet is capable of providing a combustible object with incombustibility merely by being bonded thereto, thereby significantly improving the fire resistance of the object to which the adhesive tape or sheet is bonded.</p>
