<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in glossiness even in long-term service at a POD where high glossiness is required. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic carrier comprises filled core particles prepared by filling pores of porous magnetic core particles with a silicone resin, and a vinyl resin coating surfaces of the filled core particles. In pore distribution of the porous magnetic core particles measured by a mercury penetration method, a cumulative pore volume within a range of pore size 0.1 μm or larger and 3.0 μm or smaller is 35.0 mm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/g or larger and 95.0 mm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/g or smaller. In pore distribution of the filled core particles measured by the mercury penetration method, a cumulative pore volume within a range of pore size 0.1 μm or larger and 3.0 μm or smaller is 3.0 mm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/g or larger and 15.0 mm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/g or smaller. The magnetic carrier contains vinyl resin of 1.2 pts.mass or larger and 3.0 pts.mass or smaller to the filled core particles of 100.0 pts.mass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
