<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform pixel interpolation in such a manner as to prevent generation of a false color in an image even when much noise is generated. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: an image sensor having an imaging pixel and a focus detecting pixel; a determination unit that determines the amount of noise superimposed on an image obtained by driving the image sensor; and a pixel interpolation unit that executes, on the image, an interpolation process depending on a result of determination of the noise amount by the determination unit among plural interpolation processes having different process contents, thereby generating an interpolated pixel value for the focus detecting pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
