<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus for effectively preventing buckling of a slave insertion part by action of an operation force amount and easily inserting the slave insertion part into a channel of a master endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes: the master endoscope having a channel; and a slave endoscope having the slave insertion part to be inserted into the channel of the master endoscope. The slave insertion part includes: a first thick part; and a second thick part provided on the proximal end side of the first thick part and thicker than the first thick part, for which a first dimension from the distal end of the slave insertion part to the distal end of the second thick part is larger than a second dimension from the proximal end of a master curve part to the bend position of the channel, and is smaller than a third dimension from the proximal end of the master curve part to the insertion port of the channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
