<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery with long service life which maintains sealing even under an exposure state to temperatures of over 200°C and maintains a decompression state for a long time, even in use of heat seal type armored bodies with high production efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes a power generation element 204 and armored bodies 201, 202 for storing the power generation element 204. At least a part of the armored bodies 201, 202 is sealed through a seal material 203. The seal material 203 contains aromatic polyester resin and gas barrier resin.
