<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus improving efficiency of a manually-inserted-sheet-feeding operation, for a user accustomed to performing the manually-inserted-sheet-feeding operation. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: inhibiting the rotation of a registration roller after the presence of a paper is detected by a manual-paper-feed sensor; controlling to rotate the registration roller at the point after the passage of a first inhibition time T1 from the inhibition of the rotation of the registration roller; and changing the time to a second inhibition time T2 shorter than the first inhibition time T1 when the paper is properly conveyed by the registration roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
