<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count and display the limiting degree of an invention defined in the range of a patent claim in a patent specification. <P>SOLUTION: A patent specification analysis display device for extracting information written in a patent specification and displaying the information includes character string extraction means for extracting a character string written in a field of the range of a patent claim in a patent specification subjected to electronic data, counting means for extracting case components as a noun phrase depending upon a verb including in the character string from the character string extracted by the character string extraction means and counting the total number of case components showing the number of case components in the character string, and display means for displaying the total number of case components counted by the counting means as the limiting degree of the invention. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
