<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply device that can accurately detect a residual amount of liquid ink to prevent the liquid ink from intruding into a pressure control part. <P>SOLUTION: The ink supply device 1 includes: an ink chamber 2; a float holding member 5 for holding a float member 4 having a magnet 3, and housed in the device to freely rotatable around a rotation axis 6, wherein a detection sensor 8 for detecting the position of the magnet 3 is provided on a vertical surface relative to the rotation axis 6 and in a region along a trace of the rotation of the magnet 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
