<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle instrument lighting device having reduced illumination unevenness and excellent appearance quality without increasing the number of components or manufacturing steps. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle instrument lighting device includes a light-shielding part 16 interposed between an LED 5 and a dial plate member 12, and provided on a side of the LED 5 with a light-shielding face 16b for shielding direct light from entering the dial plate member 12 so as to be positioned on a light axis L from the LED 5. The light-shielding face 16b has a roof part 16c having an almost flat surface and a semicircular shape and located directly above the LED 5 so as to be opposed to the LED 5, fixed thereto by a cantilever support pole 16d at a constant interval h2. The roof part 16c has a conical shape extended so as to be tapered from the light-shielding face 16b toward the dial plate member 12, and has a second reflection surface portion 16a formed therein so that an outside face on a side of the dial plate member 12 on an opposite side becomes an R-shaped reflection surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
