<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool exchanger with two fingers which enables the use of different types of tool holders. <P>SOLUTION: The tool exchanger includes: at least two fingers as a holding means which hold a tool holder by a rotating motion of at least one of the fingers around a hinge that is integrally joined to the fingers; an arm acting as a supporting structure that includes the fingers on at least one end of the arm and is additionally mounted to a shaft which rotates around the axis; and at least one actuator transmitting motion. The tool exchanger further includes at least one cam having at least one groove thereon to house a follower part provided in the finger on one face of the cam. The cam is driven by the actuator to transmit linear displacement motion. The cam transmits rotational motion around the hinge to the finger by the groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
