<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copolymerized polyester resin exhibiting an initial adhesive force and a wet heat resistance in so high levels as to be used as a binder component for a coating material and an adhesive used in products used for a long period such as back surface sealing sheets for solar cells, and to provide an adhesive and a coating material using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The copolymerized polyester resin is obtained by copolymerizing at least an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, isosorbide and a 5-7C aliphatic glycol, and has a glass transition temperature of ≤50°C.
