<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for preventing a decrease in ball removal operability of a ball tray and for suppressing a situation where a game ball is discharged from the ball tray against player's intention. <P>SOLUTION: A ball removal unit 611 for opening/closing a ball removal port of a lower tray 15 includes: a movable member displaceable to a first position for closing the ball removal port and a second position for opening the ball removal port; an energization means of energizing the movable member to the first position side; and an engagement means of holding the movable member located in the second position. There is also provided a switching means of adjusting an amount of displacement in the movable member, and the movable member can be held by the engagement means. A state of the ball removal unit 611 can be switched between a first state where a holding state of the movable member can be canceled by player's predetermined operation and a second state where the movable member cannot be held by the engagement means.
