PURPOSE: A display method of function buttons in the touch screen of an automated teller machine changing the color, size and arrangement of the function buttons frequently used according to time, location and weather and a display apparatus thereof are provided to improve the convenience of users. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus calculates a statistical value about the use frequency of each function displayed in a touch screen of an automated teller machine(210). The display apparatus changes information about the shape of each button corresponding to the function displayed in the touch screen based on the calculated statistical value(220). The display apparatus displays buttons corresponding to functions displayed in the touch screen of the automated teller machine using the information about the shape(230). The display apparatus receives the selection of a user about one of the displayed buttons(240). The display apparatus unites the image of a virtual teller and an image according to a distinct task corresponding to a function(250). The display apparatus reduces or removes rest buttons after excluding selected buttons among the displayed buttons in response to the selection of the user(260).
