PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a vehicle interior material is provided to prevent a veneer layer from being cracked or separated on an injection-molded resin curved surface before and after a molding process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a vehicle interior material is as follows. A veneer is compressed and softened(202). A strength reinforcing material is adhered to the softened veneer while maintaining the flexibility of the softened veneer. An elastic layer is formed on the softened veneer(206). A veneer sheet is inserted into a mold so that a surface of the veneer sheet is faced to the mold(104). A resin melt is injected to the elastic layer of the inserted veneer sheet in a mold injection hole of a rear side of an injection molded product(108).
