摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overheating of an inverter and a coil assembly while also suppressing torque ripples in a control device which controls drive of a three-phase rotary machine having two sets of coil assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A first circuit inverter 601 and a second circuit inverter 602 respectively supply AC power having the same amplitude and differing in phase by 30&deg; with each other to two sets of coil assembly 801 and 802 which constitute a three-phase motor 80. Current detectors 701 and 702 detect the phase currents of electricity conducting from the inverters 601 and 602 to the coil assemblies 801 and 802. Temperature estimators 751 and 752 estimate the temperatures of the inverters or the coil assemblies from an integrated value of detected phase current values. Current command value limiting means 20 limits the upper limits of current command values Id<SP POS="POST">*</SP>and Iq<SP POS="POST">*</SP>in common to the two circuits on the basis of estimated temperatures Tm1 and Tm2.
