<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of time required for grouping without assigning serial numbers. <P>SOLUTION: The data division device performs the steps of: receiving stream data from a stream data generation device and storing plural pieces of data with which adjacent information to identify adjacent pieces of data is associated; storing head information to identify a piece of data located at the beginning of a group and tail information to identify a piece of data located at the end of the group for each group obtained by dividing the data to be stored into a prescribed number of groups; when storing a new piece of data, identifying pieces of data adjacent to the new data based on items included in the new data and storing the new data in association with adjacent information to identify the adjacent pieces of data; and when a piece of data is inserted, updating the head information and the tail information in each group so that a difference in the number of pieces of data belonging to each group becomes equal to or less than 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
