<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus for preventing a failure to view and a failure to listen to a broadcast content in the middle of viewing and listening. <P>SOLUTION: When a CPU 100 detects that an earphone 20 becomes in a non-connection state or a user non-installation state during broadcast reception in response to a connection/non-connection state of the earphone 20 and a user installation/non-installation state discriminated from a signal which the earphone 20 outputs, a system becomes an automatic recording state where the broadcast content during reception is automatically started to be recorded. When the earphone 20 is connected and the system returns to the user installation state, the CPU 100 performs time shift reproduction (follow-up reproduction) on broadcast in the middle of automatic recording.
