The bearing cage has two adjacent pockets (6,8) for receiving a respective roller body, which are separated by a bar (14) extended in an axial direction (10). A shape of the pockets has undercuts (16,18) at the corners respectively at an axial end of the bar. The arranged undercuts of adjacent pockets run parallel to each other at the axial end of the bar. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing bearing cage for a roller bearing; and (2) a roller bearing with a cylinder bearing.
