<p>An air conditioner (1) is equipped with: a blower unit (2) having a housing (2a) provided with a suction port (5) and a discharge port (6); an air passage (14) provided within the blower unit (2) and connecting the suction port (5) and the discharge port (6); a blower fan (8) that is provided within the air passage (14) and circulates air from the suction port (5) toward the discharge port (6); and an ion generation device (7) that is provided adjacent to the air passage (14) and that, by means of an electrical discharge, emits ions into the air at the upstream side in the air circulation direction with respect to the blower fan (8) in the air passage (14).</p> |
