<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid or mitigate, when intra-prediction based on a dynamically configured prediction function is performed, an increase in processing cost required for configuration of the prediction function. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing device comprising: a prediction unit that generates a predicted value for a chroma component of a pixel in a decoded image using a function of the value of a corresponding luma component; a coefficient calculation unit that calculates coefficients of the function used by the prediction unit with reference to neighboring pixels of a block to which the pixel belongs; and a control unit that controls a ratio of the number of reference pixels used by the coefficient calculation unit to the block size of the block. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
