<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowing tuyere with a heat insulation sleeve that can reduce heat loss and shows a high heat insulation effect over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The blowing tuyere for a blast furnace is configured such that, in the tuyere 1 mounted therein with the cylindrical heat insulation sleeve 2 made of a refractory object, the heat insulation sleeve has an alumina fiber paper layer 3, formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof, and the front and back parts of the heat insulation sleeve are fixed at the tuyere by an inorganic-based fixture material 4.
