The present invention relates to a receiving device of an OFDM communication system capable of improving transmission efficiency and error performance of an OFDM system by estimating and compensating for phase noise from a received OFDM symbol unlike a conventional receiving device which uses a pilot symbol to compensate for the phase noise, and a method for alleviating the phase noise thereof.
