This application management system has a terminal and an application management server for distributing an application to the terminal. Here, the application management server instructs the application to write first hierarchical-level data candidates, which are selectable at the terminal, and distributes the application to which the first hierarchical-level data candidates have been written to the terminal. In addition, the terminal selects first hierarchical-level data of the application from among the candidates and displays the screen of the application which has been constructed using the selected first hierarchical-level data.
